The Hotell
Vinterpalatset (Winterpalace) is a small,
privately-owned hotel with competitive prices and a
well known high level of service and personal attention.
The hotel is centrally
located in a quiet area only
a few minutes walking distance from downtown and
the railway station. The airport is 9 km away.
The hotel building,
built in 1904, is one of the oldest
houses in Kiruna. The hotel was renovated from top
to bottom 2001 and is today a modern hotel
with a very high standard, for instance free wireless
high-speed Internet connection.
In the Main Building
there are 16 rooms and in the
Annex 4 rooms, all together comprising 39 beds.
In the Annex, there is also a newly renovated, fully
furnished two-bedroom apartment including kitchen
and sauna.

rooms are individually designed and decorated and equipped with shower,
toilet, cable-TV and telephone. |

conference room is designed to resemble a traditional Lapp hut and has of course all modern conference equipment. |

King Bore´s Bar has television and an open fireplace
and can be used for social gatherings.

the bright, tastefully-decorated Restaurant Wintergarden one can order ordinary
dishes as well as more sophisticated meals. The restaurant specialises in
the local cuisine but our chef can prepare a wide variety of dishes. |

| The sauna facility is equipped with a solarium, a Jacuzzi bath and a relaxation area
for free usage by hotel guests. |
